Pizza and Dolphins...

Today was a nice way to end a rough week. Between bug bites, green stuff, exhaustion, difficult children, missing home, and more bug bites I'd had my share of "fun" for one week. Just ask Alison how pleasant I was to be around, I'm sure she'd be quite honest. :) In an effort to relax, Laura and her husband Eric took us to Pizza in the Sky. It was a really beautiful pizza restaurant (Okinawan Pizza) up on a mountain overlooking the ocean. They had one kind of pizza and one kind of salad. It was SO hard to make a decision. ;) It was very yummy and if any of you happened to come visit we just might have to make a trip up there!

View from the restaurant...
From the restaurant we drove to the Aquarium, the second largest in the world. Let me clarify, Alison and I did not go into the actual aquarium as we found our budget was not going to allow for that right now. There was a whole expo park with pools to observe sea turtles, manatee, and a dolphin show, all for free! Eric wanted a refreshing drink at the park and you'll never guess what he got...coconut juice, straight from a coconut with an axed off top! It was so funny seeing everyone walking around holding whole coconuts! Where am I? Anyways, the whole park was gorgeous, of course with the ocean in the background. This place is crazy like that! We were talking about how every business, especially restaurants, have one thing on their side...location!

On the beach by the aquarium...

  1. What a fun day! And it was much needed! You guys look like radiant beauties on the beach. You both are truly beautiful! I love you and miss you much and pray for you OFTEN! Hugs and kisses!

  2. I'm sorry about your bug bites Adi. I can definitely empathize with you. It totally sucks. Try putting aloe vera on it at nite and hang in there!!!
I love you and miss you and am praying for you.

ps just tell the kids to shut up and sit down :) hehehehe

  3. I'm glad you had fun -- it was well earned and NEEDED! I hope the bug situation gets better. By the way, you both look very refreshed and relaxed in the last photo. In fact, Cheryl's both are radiant beauties :)
